About the event
This conference is dedicated to a critical and often overlooked area of public health: addressing the unique challenges of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias in rural communities. Unlike urban settings with established healthcare infrastructure, rural populations face significant barriers, including limited access to specialized care, diagnostic services, and support networks.
Our goal is to bring together leading experts, researchers, healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community leaders to share knowledge, discuss innovative solutions, and foster collaborations. Over the next few days, we'll explore strategies for early detection, effective management, and providing compassionate care that is both accessible and culturally sensitive. Together, we can work towards a future where geographical location doesn't dictate the quality of care for those living with Alzheimer's.
